2-day Basic Wen-Do Women's Self Defence Course in Guelph

All self-identified Cis and Trans* Women and Girls welcome. Women of Indigenous, migrant, newcomer, and other marginalized racial and ethnic backgrounds are especially encouraged to attend. This is an empowering self-defence course for all women of all abilities.
This 15 hour class will be a great opportunity to...
- learn practical, effective and simple techniques to help ourselves escape from common scenarios that could possibly be encountered if attacked.
- develop your ability to recognize and deal with potentially dangerous situations,
- increase your confidence, and
- have fun!
Two Locations: near York Road & Victoria St N, and in Downtown Guelph. This course is wheelchair-accessible.
Dates: 2 Saturdays, December 5 & 12, 2015 Time: 10:00am-5:30pm on both days
Wen-Do is the oldest women's self defence organization in Canada. Our programs have been recommended by the Toronto Rape Crisis Centre/Multicultural Women Against Rape, Toronto Police, and the University of Toronto Community Safety Office & many others.
