University of Guelph Class of 2011 Last Lecture
Thursday, April 7, 2011
Are you graduating in 2011? Do you have pictures of your time at Guelph that you would like to share? Or maybe a song you love that played that whole first year in Rez?
Send them to [email protected] with the subject line "LL 2011 Photos/Song" and then come out to the Last Lecture April 7th 2011 and see if they made it on screen!
WHAT IS THE LAST LECTURE?
The Last Lecture offers graduating students an opportunity to come together and reflect upon their experiences at Guelph, bring closure to the time that they have spent here, and celebrate their many accomplishments both inside and outside the classroom. The Last Lecture features an address by a graduating student who has competed for the honour, a faculty member nominated by graduating students and a distinguished alumnus. The event is followed by a reception where the artwork and music of graduating students is displayed and celebrated.
Graduating students are encouraged to invite a member of the faculty who has contributed positively to their academic and personal growth and with whom you would like to share this special evening.
Applications to be your graduating class' student lecturer will be available in January each year.
