Volunteering with thecannon.ca is all about contributing to something bigger.. the University of Guelph's first online community for students. This is your opportunity to express yourself in any way that you want. The possibilities are limitless: you can submit photos, artwork, or written pieces on an infinite number of topics.
Virtual volunteering
This virtual volunteering opportunity is a chance for you to shape your own volunteer experience through forming a unique partnership with thecannon.ca. You tell us what you want to contribute, when you want to contribute and how often you want to contribute to your online community. Virtual volunteering allows you to contribute by submitting contributions electronically, from any computer in the world, at any time of the day, to thecannon.ca's editor who then posts it on the website.
We realize that you have many demands on your time, and that each person has a different set of skills and talents that they might like to share, but we also recognize the positive impact of volunteerism in lives of each volunteer and in a community. It is our goal to create a 'place' where student's voices are heard, shared, united and respected.
