In one of the better games both teams have played this year, the goaltenders
stole the show. In goal for Guelph was Aleisha Lusk (Mitchell, ON) who
stopped 28 shots, and for Laurier was Morgan Weilgosz, who stopped 25 shots.
Scoring Guelph's lone goal was Becky Simpson, (Corbyville, ON) who banged in
a lose puck mid way through the first period. Laurier replied early in the
second. The third saw some good chances for both teams, only to be denied.
Both teams had late powerplay chances, but couldn't muster the winning goal.

Guelph has now completed the first semester with a 6-3-5 record, for 17
points, and currently sit 2nd in the OUA. The next action for Guelph is the
innaugural Gryphon Invitation Tournament to be held January 2-5, 2006.
