With a berth in the OUA final four up for grabs, the Gryphons came up with a great team effort, and advance with a 3-1 victory. Picking up the win for Guelph was Aleisha Lusk (Mitchell, ON) who stopped 21 out of 22 shots. Scoring for Guelph in the first period was Arden Sullivan (London, ON) and Michelle Chartier (Toronto, ON). Guelph took a 2-0 lead into the first intermission. Picking up an assist on the Chartier goal was Guelph native Laura Mills. In the second Guelph went up 3-0 on a great rush from Bianca Kitts, (Nepean, ON) who started at her own blueline and weaved through the Brock team and scored on a hard low shot. Brock scored with just under two minutes to go in the second but that was as close as they could get. Lusk closed the door in the third and Guelph is now onto the OUA semi-finals. The game was a clean, with only three penalties being called. Two against Guelph, and one against Brock.

Guelph now travels to St. Catherines to play in the OUA Championships. Guelph faces the #2 ranked Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks in the semi-finals. Game time is 7:00pm on Saturday March 4th. The game is at the brand new St. Catherines Sportsplex. The other semi-final will see Queens play the winner of the Toronto/Windsor quarter final game at 4:00.
