Guelph got out to a good start in the first period, and took a 1-0 advantage into the first intermission. Scoring for Guelph was Elaine Dumas (Waterloo, ON). In the first Guelph held the shot advantage 12-6. The second period saw the reverse, as Windsor scored two quick goals in the second to take a 2-1 lead into the second intermission. Shots on goal in the second were 14-7 in favor of Windsor. Guelph came out strong in the third, and fired 19 shots at the Windsor goaltender, looking for that elusive tying goal, and with time winding down, Guelph had the goaltender out for an extra attacker, but couldn’t muster a goal. Shots on goal for the game were 38-30 in favor of Guelph. In goal for Guelph was Aleisha Lusk (Mitchell, ON) and for Windsor was Katie Clubb.

Up next for Guelph is another road game vs Queens on February 4th. Game time is 2:00pm at the Jock Harty Arena in Kingston, ON.
