0 CommentsGlobal Youth Network holds a volunteer opportunity to anyone that is interested. The team Program has 8-12 people per team who travel all over the world to different countries focusing on difference social justice issues. Global is a grassroots nonprofit organization that exposes youth to new cultures and gets us out of our comfort zones.
This year we’re going to Brazil (focusing on child development), Cambodia (focusing on education), Kenya (focusing on HIV/AIDS and community development), the Philippines (focusing on education and youth empowerment) and Western Canada (focusing on indigenous solidarity).
Global trips are an incredible opportunity to learn about social justice issues, see the world and meet a great group of Guelph students. It’s also the cheapest option on campus for traveling abroad.
We’re holding info sessions this week on Tuesday October 25th which is going to be in MACK 309 at 5:30 pm and Wednesday October26th in MACK 238@ 5:30pm.
Don't forget to come visit us Wednesday October 26th in the MACK lobby for a Halloween themed Bake Sale!
If you have any questions, email us at !
Thanks for your time and see you at an info session!
