Cuts for Cancer at the University of Guelph, Wednesday February 16th, 2011.

In order to promote awareness of issues surrounding donating hair, cancer (especially childhood cancer) and to support cancer patients, Cuts for Cancer at the University of Guelph held a charity raffle today in the UC. For a small monetary donation, you are immediately entered into a charity raffle for some amazing prizes, including a spa package, Raptor's game tickets and gift certificates from Hospitality Services. All proceeds go directly to supporting Cancer research with the Childhood Cancer Canada Foundation.

This is the second year that Cuts for Cancer is at the University of Guelph, and it is alive and thriving as a new student group! This raffle will be drawn on the day of the actual Cuts for Cancer event, March 4th and 5th 2011. Help students across Canada raise money and ponytails in support of cancer patients.

Whether you want to shave your head, raise money, donate money or you have at least 10 inches of hair you want to donate, support Cuts for Cancer in any way you can. Help provide wigs to restore the self-esteem of children across Canada, who are suffering from long-term medical hair loss.
