The university experience isn’t just a mixture of academics and partying. For many students, their involvement in a variety of student groups is a defining characteristic of their campus life. This Monday and Tuesday in the UC courtyard is your chance to get active in CSA clubs. Its Club Days for the winter semester and most of the over 100 CSA accredited clubs are setting up tables to recruit YOU!

There is a huge range of groups to choose from. These include cultural clubs such as SALSA (Spanish and Latino Students Association) and the Japanese Culture Club, political groups ranging from Conservative to Communist, religious groups such as the Muslim Students Association and the Association for Bahai Studies, and clubs for the promotion of fun such as Guelph Snow (a ski and snowboard club) and the Heavy Metal club.

There are too many to name, but if you can’t find one that tickles your fancy, Club Days is also your opportunity to start your own. During club days you’re free to set up a table and a slick bristol board presentation. If you can recruit 25 people you can apply for CSA accreditation. Unfortunately the registration for a table is past for these Club Days but the opportunity is there for next fall.
