Candidate Statement:
"Dear fellow UofG undergrads,
Thank-you for taking the time to participate in this election! And thank-you for considering me as one of your candidates for HR&O Commissioner. My name is Nick Stepanov. You may know me from the Guelph Campus Co-operative, where I've been volunteering since 2007, ensuring that students have an alternative, affordable choice for textbooks. This year I joined the CSA as one of its directors and contributed on its Finance, Hiring and Policy & By-law Review committees. I volunteer my time for our community because we're all stronger for it. Together, we create a student-owned bookstore, a Universal Bus Pass, a Heal & Dental Plan, and TheCannon.ca. Together, we can accomplish even more. And so I ask for your support and vote today, so that we can continue making student life better. As your HR&O Commissioner, I will ensure the CSA spends our money towards improving students' lives, continues to be an Equal Opportunity employer, and remains a not-for-profit organization. Furthermore, student empowerment, CSA's accountability and transparency towards its membership will always remain on top of my list.
